The project purpose is to reduce poverty and foster independence by increasing homeownership and preserving existing homes for low-income families. The AmeriCorps expansion allows SCHFH to work more efficiently and on additional build sites expanding the number of low-income families served to 10 home construction projects and 8 home preservation projects in 2010. |
