UPA will be an alternative high school for low-income urban youth not succeeding in public school. It will be personalized, creative, build self-esteem and positive attitudes about academic achievement with empowered personal vision. Accountability, family commitment, enriching experiences, and high academic and behavioral standards in a faith based model will be cultivated through very small groups, positive peer relationships, and loving, committed staff focused on these students. |
